Sharer

What it does

An experimental file sharer: it splits a file into parts of a chosen size, sends them one by one, and joins them again on everyone else's side, where the file shows up with sender and size, ready to download. It is meant for chats with a file size limit or for big files. In the Matrix widget only small files go through: the widget accepts updates up to 128 kB, less than the app's smallest part size.

How to use it

1. Tap the + button to open the send form
2. Choose a part size and a file
3. Press Send File; the parts go out one per second
4. Everyone sees the file in the list and can download it
